Established in 2016, by Founder and Creative Director, Natalia Barbieri, NMB Studio was born from a passion for luxury product, interiors and spaces.

Following a successful 18 year career in the fashion industry as the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Bionda Castana and later consulting for small-medium sized footwear brands, Natalia’s keen eye for detail and concept curation, was the foundation of NMB Studio.

Colour, textile and creation is second nature and Natalia’s approach is simple and not convoluted; she combines authentic traditional details whilst complementing with beautiful vintage inspired pieces. 

Natalia has begun her journey into the interiors world with the (on-going) renovation of her Arts and Crafts home in Surrey.

[Bionda Castana was co-founded in London in 2005 by Natalia Barbieri and was a small entrepreneurial run business. The brand secured a permanent space within luxury retail ambassadors around the world with it’s wholesale book including Harrods, Lane Crawford, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Level Shoe District Dubai, The Shop at Bluebird, La Rinascente Milan, Tsum Moscow, Hudsons Bay Canada, Shopbop.com.

The signature design that gained iconic status was the best-seller ‘Lana’, a single soled geometric pump that is a modern take on the universal court shoe. The brand had an impressive global media footprint and quickly grew a following among London ‘cool’ girls and editors – Alexa Chung, Caroline Issa, Sarah Harris, and has been discovered by Hollywood stars – Keira Knightley, Alicia Vikander, January Jones, Diane Kruger.
